The partnership aims to diversify the economy and create jobs while preserving ecosystems. The Nature Conservancy representative praised the President's leadership and reforms, offering the organization's expertise, networks, and investment capabilities. Discussions centered on investment opportunities and the country's rich natural heritage. A key objective is to diversify the Gabonese economy, create local jobs, and generate local benefits through eco-friendly tourism projects. The preservation of forests, biodiversity, and protected species was highlighted as a development driver. The organization will support Gabon through carbon credit mechanisms to economically translate conservation efforts and fund sustainable initiatives.
