SETRAG seeks consultant for Trans-Gabon railway modernization project
SETRAG has issued a call for expressions of interest to recruit a consultant for a five-year mission to oversee the modernization and security program for the Trans-Gabon railway line, connecting Owendo and Franceville. This project, supported by funding from the French Development Agency AFD, aims to rehabilitate hydraulic and engineering structures, stabilize the track, and renovate and expand the Owendo and Franceville stations. The selected consultant will be responsible for project management, including global coordination, technical and quality control of works and equipment to railway standards, and managing timelines, costs, and risks. Eligible candidates include consulting firms, individual consultants, NGOs, or groups of NGOs and consulting firms. The AFD's eligibility criteria for funding apply, as detailed in their guidelines. Candidates may submit only one application, either individually or as part of a group of up to three members. SETRAG will pre-select a maximum of six candidates to receive a Request for Proposals. The mission will cover the entire SETRAG network from Owendo to Franceville. Expressions of interest must be submitted electronically by the specified deadline.
