NPP stages 'Democracy Under Attack' demonstration in Accra

The protest aims to highlight what the party describes as threats to Ghana’s democratic governance. Demonstrators began their march from the Supreme Court, where party leaders are presenting a petition to the Judiciary. This petition details the NPP's concerns regarding recent judicial decisions and advocates for enhanced protection of judicial independence and the rule of law.

Following the petition's submission, the participants will conduct a peaceful march through key streets of the capital before proceeding to the Jubilee House.
