Algeria and Morocco have qualified for the 2027 FIFA Women鈥檚 World Cup in Brazil. Both nations secured their spots by reaching the semi-finals of the Women鈥檚 Africa Cup of Nations. Algeria qualified for the first time after a 2-1 victory over C么te d鈥橧voire, while Morocco defeated South Africa by the same score. Two more African teams will qualify from the remaining WAFCON quarter-finals, where Cameroon will play Nigeria and Malawi will face Ghana. C么te d鈥橧voire and South Africa still have a chance to qualify through the FIFA Play-Off Tournament, with the winner of their August 13 match advancing to the World Cup.
