
Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials begin specialized training program in Beijing
Twenty-five officials from Libya's Tripoli-based Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation are participating in a specialized training program in Beijing, which began today. This initiative aims to develop the capabilities of diplomatic personnel, strengthen cooperation between Libya and China, and utilize training scholarship programs from friendly nations. The program, organized by the Chinese Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Culture, covers diplomacy topics such as China's foreign policy priorities, international relations, and bilateral cooperation prospects. It also includes field visits to introduce participants to China's cultural heritage and its economic and industrial development. Running from August 6 to August 26, 2026, the program reflects the Ministry's commitment to enhancing its diplomatic staff's professional skills and expanding cooperation with academic and training institutions in friendly countries, thereby fostering bilateral relations between Libya and China.
