Committee meets to finalize National Green Hydrogen Strategy
The Committee for Preparing the National Green Hydrogen Strategy, formed under Prime Minister’s Decision No. 395 of 2025, convened its tenth meeting to finalize the strategy. Green hydrogen is highlighted as a clean energy source produced using renewable energy, splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen without carbon emissions. This process positions it as a strategic option for supporting the energy sector's transition and achieving sustainable development. The committee underscored the project's significance in advancing the state's move toward a low-carbon economy and increasing investment in the clean energy sector. The meeting reviewed progress, data collection efforts, and discussed leveraging expertise and technical support. Plans were also made for future technical meetings to expedite the strategy's completion, with minutes and periodic reports to be submitted to the Prime Minister.
