
NOC Chairman Suleiman discusses budget oversight with US State Department advisor Berndt
National Oil Corporation NOC Chairman Masoud Suleiman met with Jeremy Berndt, US State Department's Senior Advisor for Libyan Political Affairs, at the NOC's Tripoli headquarters. Suleiman reported on social media that they discussed assigning a specialized international consulting office to monitor the implementation of the NOC's budget. This initiative aims to ensure proper resource utilization, improve spending efficiency, and enhance transparency and governance in projects and programs for the oil sector's development. The meeting also covered broader topics related to the energy sector, focusing on strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise to support the NOC's goals of operational stability, performance improvement, and capacity building within the sector.
