Ghana's new Defence Minister Gilbert Kenneth Adjei assumes office, pledges cooperation with Armed Forces

The Chief of the Defence Staff, Lieutenant General William Agyapong, along with other Service Chiefs, pledged their full cooperation and support to the new Minister. Lieutenant General Agyapong emphasized the Military High Command's commitment to working closely with the Ministry to advance Ghana’s defence and security interests, and to support the President's vision for national security, personnel welfare, and GAF operational capabilities. Honourable Adjei, after inspecting a Guard of Honour by the Ghana Navy, thanked the Ghana Armed Forces for their reception and acknowledged their discipline, professionalism, and commitment to national defence.

He affirmed his readiness to collaborate with the Ministry and the GAF to further the interests of both the Armed Forces and the nation.
