Man-Made River Project Authority announces total shutdown due to electricity blackout in western and southern Libya
The Man-Made River Project Authority has announced a complete shutdown of all its stations due to a power outage and total blackout affecting cities and regions in western and southern Libya. This disruption impacts areas from Al-Hasawna in the southwest, through the pumping station in Tarhuna southeast of Tripoli, and extends to the two pumping stations in Al-Rabita in the northwest of the country. The authority has suspended operations across its western and southern Libyan systems, including Al-Hasawna, Tarhuna, and Al-Rabita, following the regional electricity blackout.
