Prime Minister Madbouly attends Julius Nyerere Hydropower Plant opening in Tanzania

He is representing President Abdel Fattah El Sisi at the event. The project was constructed by an Egyptian consortium consisting of Arab Contractors and Elsewedy Electric. The delegation includes Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hani Sewilam, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Randa El-Minshawi, Alexandria Governor Ayman Attia, Arab Contractors Chairman Ahmed El-Assar, and Elsewedy Electric CEO and Managing Director Ahmed Elsewedy, alongside other officials and representatives from the consortium.

Madbouly stated that his participation, on behalf of President Sisi and in the presence of Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan, highlights Egypt's dedication to strengthening African-African cooperation and establishing strategic partnerships for sustainable development through joint projects across the continent.
