Al-Azhar and Dar al-Ifta express solidarity with Algeria after forest fires
Al-Azhar Al-Sharif has extended its deepest condolences and sympathies to Algeria following devastating forest fires that caused deaths and injuries across several provinces. Al-Azhar affirmed its full solidarity with Algeria, praising the efforts of Algerian Civil Protection teams and praying for the success of rescue operations, mercy for the victims, and the nation's continued protection. Separately, Dr. Nazir Muhammad Ayyad, the Grand Mufti of Egypt and President of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, also expressed solidarity with Algeria's people and government, offering condolences to victims' families and prayers for the injured and for the country's swift recovery from the disaster.
