Sweet Beauté owner Ndeye Khady Ndiaye apologizes to Adji Sarr, promises further revelations
Ndeye Khady Ndiaye, owner of the Sweet Beauté massage parlor, has publicly apologized to her former employee, Adji Sarr, during a live TikTok broadcast. Ndiaye stated she sought to "be at peace with her conscience" and acknowledged a degree of responsibility in the ongoing legal and media confrontation. This apology marks a significant shift from her previous stance, where she consistently defended Pastef leader Ousmane Sonko against Sarr's accusations of rape and death threats. Ndiaye herself was sentenced to two years in prison for incitement to debauchery in connection with the case. She announced plans for a future statement where she intends to "tell the whole truth" about the judicial and political aspects of the Sweet Beauté affair, which has been a focal point of tension in Senegal.
