Namibian coaches complete CAF B Diploma course, Hermanus 'Lawal' Naobeb highlights its significance

Hermanus 'Lawal' Naobeb, coach for Swallows FC and the Swallows Academy, emphasized the course's importance, noting the rarity of such training in Namibia. Coach Lawal, who works with youth teams from ages 9-19 in the MTC HopSol Youth League, views coaching as a means to provide safe spaces and opportunities for young people in Katutura, helping them to dream beyond their current circumstances. He has also been instrumental in developing players who have advanced to Namibia’s top-tier league.

Lawal expressed his passion for continuous learning and his ambition to coach at the highest level, considering the CAF B Diploma a crucial step in his coaching journey rather than the final destination.
