Bernardo Silva states playing at Real Madrid is not for everyone
Bernardo Silva, the Portugal midfielder, commented that playing for Real Madrid "is not for everyone" during his presentation by the 15-time European champions on Wednesday. The 31-year-old, who joined Real Madrid from Manchester City after his contract ended this summer, expressed pride in joining the world's most successful club. Silva told Real Madrid TV that seeing the 15 Champions League titles displayed at the Bernabeu is very imposing and that having them there is special. He reiterated his pride and commitment to give everything for the club. In related news, Silva's former Manchester City teammate Rodri joined Real Madrid's rivals Barcelona on Tuesday. Real Madrid's new coach, Jose Mourinho, revealed he had spoken with Rodri earlier in the summer and made him a good offer, but Rodri's doubts led Mourinho to conclude that Real Madrid cannot have players who hesitate about joining.
