Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke forgives opponents, calls for unity
Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has declared he has forgiven all who offended him and urged former opponents to collaborate with his administration for the state's progress. Speaking after receiving his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission following his victory in the August 15 governorship election, Adeleke stated he is the governor of all and that past issues should be forgotten. He emphasized that his administration has brought "light" to Osun State, driving away "darkness," and assured that the state would not revert. Adeleke appealed to his fellow contestants to join hands for the state's benefit, asserting that Osun State is bigger than any individual. He also offered condolences to those who lost their lives during the election, promising that the Adeleke family would support their families, separate from government funds.
