
Arabian Gulf Oil Company and Halliburton discuss cooperation to boost production
Khaled Al-Hassi, a member of the Arabian Gulf Oil Company's Management Committee for Exploration, Production, and Information, met with Khaled Baltamer, a representative of Halliburton, to discuss enhancing cooperation and expanding services. The discussions focused on reviewing current activities, accelerating work, and supporting operational processes to increase production rates. Key areas included expanding well services, particularly the maintenance and return to production of shut-in wells using modern technologies. The parties also discussed improving the supply of well testing equipment and evaluating the implementation of hydraulic fracturing technology in selected wells, with a proposal to be submitted to the National Oil Corporation. Both sides emphasized the importance of continued coordination and partnership development for the Libyan oil sector. Khaled Baltamer affirmed Halliburton's commitment to providing technical support to increase the company's production.
