
Somalia seeks to export livestock to Libya, discusses economic cooperation
The Ambassador of Somalia to Libya met with officials from Libya's General Union of Chambers of Commerce to discuss enhancing economic and trade relations. The Chairman of the Union outlined its activities in supporting the private sector and fostering international economic ties. The Somali Ambassador highlighted Somalia's economic potential and abundant livestock resources, expressing a desire to initiate livestock exports to Libya. Both parties stressed the importance of developing mutual economic cooperation, establishing direct communication channels between their respective Chambers, and strengthening trade and investment partnerships. The meeting concluded with an emphasis on exchanging visits, economic delegations, and businessmen to deepen fraternal relations and broaden cooperation between Libya and Somalia.
