Libyan Health Minister discusses cooperation with Italian counterparts and industrial federation in Rome

This meeting aimed to strengthen international cooperation and expand partnerships within the health industry. Discussions covered supporting health infrastructure development, localizing pharmaceutical and medical supply industries, boosting health sector investment, and transferring modern expertise and technologies to Libya. They also explored encouraging Italian companies to participate in health projects and expanding cooperation in training and professional development.

The Minister emphasized building strategic partnerships with Italian institutions and companies to rehabilitate and develop the healthcare system, foster investment, and facilitate knowledge transfer. This meeting followed a discussion with Italian Minister of Health Orazio Schillaci, where they addressed strengthening health cooperation, supporting medical personnel training, enhancing collaboration in bone marrow transplantation, and leveraging Italian expertise to improve health services. Both sides discussed activating joint agreements and expanding partnerships between health institutions, emphasizing continued coordination to develop Libya's health sector and improve healthcare quality for citizens.
