
REMINAC and NORDEN partner to enhance Baniaka iron ore export logistics
REMINAC, the company developing the Baniaka iron project, signed a Memorandum of Understanding MOU with international group NORDEN in Libreville on August 13, 2026. This agreement aims to explore and implement logistical and maritime solutions for exporting iron ore to international markets. The partnership will cover maritime transport, transshipment operations, port logistics, and the optimization of the entire export chain. Both companies will share expertise to identify the best technical and operational options, with the goal of establishing an efficient, reliable, and competitive logistics chain for international iron ore trade. This collaboration is part of REMINAC's broader strategy to secure essential logistics for the Baniaka mining project, which is significant for Gabon.
