Tolu Arokodare aims for collective success and trophies at Ajax
Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare, on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers, made an immediate impact in his competitive debut for Ajax, providing an assist in their 2-0 Eredivisie win against PEC Zwolle. Arokodare, who previously led the Jupiler Pro League in scoring for Genk in the 2024/25 season, stated his commitment to Ajax's ambitions, even if it means prioritizing team success over individual starts. He expressed his desire to win every competition with Ajax, aligning with the vision shared by technical director Jordi Cruijff. Arokodare acknowledged the intense competition for places following Ajax's summer recruitment but affirmed his dedication to making an impact whenever called upon, whether starting or coming off the bench. His personal goals include winning matches and scoring goals for the team.
