Egypt signs AI and training agreements with Cisco, CEO meets Prime Minister

These agreements aim to advance Egypt’s national AI strategy and train 3,000 certified tech instructors. The letter of intent outlines Cisco's support for deploying artificial intelligence solutions across government sectors to enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and cybersecurity. Cisco Chairman and CEO Chuck Robbins stated that AI is reshaping economies and that nations with clear visions today will lead tomorrow.

He noted that Cisco has already trained approximately 670,000 Egyptian students and plans to expand local investments and innovation centers. The memorandum of understanding with the National Telecommunication Institute details Cisco's commitment to train 1,000 university faculty members and independent lecturers annually for three years, totaling 3,000 internationally certified trainers, in areas such as data networking, cybersecurity, operating systems, and AI.
