Egypt condemns Israeli incursion on UNRWA's Kalandia Training Center
Egypt has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces' raid on the Kalandia Training Center, an UNRWA facility, and the detention of students and staff. Egypt stated that this incident, which occurred on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, is a blatant violation of United Nations premises and a continuation of Israeli escalation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates described the actions as serious breaches of international law, international humanitarian law, and the Fourth Geneva Convention. Egypt reaffirmed its rejection of measures undermining UNRWA's mandate and called on the international community, the United Nations, and the UN Security Council to take urgent action to halt Israeli violations against UN facilities and ensure UNRWA can continue its humanitarian duties.
