Cherki and Haaland doubles lead Manchester City to 4-1 victory over Crystal Palace

However, Cherki scored again in the 59th minute, and Haaland completed the scoring in the 85th minute. Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca praised his team's control of the game after the initial 10 minutes and highlighted Phil Foden's adaptability in various attacking roles. City will next face Coventry City before a derby match against Manchester United.
