
Cherki and Haaland doubles lead Manchester City to 4-1 victory over Crystal Palace
Manchester City secured their second consecutive Premier League win with a 4-1 victory against Crystal Palace on Friday night. Rayan Cherki and Erling Haaland both scored two goals for City. Haaland opened the scoring in the 17th minute, followed by Cherki's first goal in the 54th minute. Crystal Palace briefly reduced the deficit two minutes later. However, Cherki scored again in the 59th minute, and Haaland completed the scoring in the 85th minute. Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca praised his team's control of the game after the initial 10 minutes and highlighted Phil Foden's adaptability in various attacking roles. City will next face Coventry City before a derby match against Manchester United.
