Beyond the current judicial proceedings, Touré also reflected on Senegal's approach to fighting corruption. She advocated for a less sensational and more institutionalized approach, suggesting that accountability should be a normal practice of governance. She called for more frequent and regular audits, ideally annual, across all public administrations, viewing audits as a normal requirement of good governance rather than as targeting individuals.
