Libya's Minister of Economy launches digital platform for exhibitions and conferences
Libya's Tripoli-based Minister of Economy and Trade, Suhail Abushiha, officially launched the Exhibitions and Conferences Platform, aiming to digitize the sector and modernize event organization and management. The launch ceremony at the Ministry of Economy and Trade headquarters in Tripoli was attended by the Head of the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences, Engineer Issam Al-Oul, and the Director General of the Tripoli International Fair. The platform is the first official, specialized platform in Libya for digitizing the exhibitions and conferences sector, providing an electronic system for managing registration, participation, and event logistics, and establishing an integrated database. Issam Al-Oul stated that the platform signifies a major step in the sector's digital transformation, reflecting the Authority's commitment to building a modern system for managing and organizing events in Libya. He added that it offers comprehensive digital tools to streamline procedures, foster communication, and create a database to support sector development.
