
Russian company Indesol LLC seeks to invest in Ouagadougou, focusing on social housing, educational, and health infrastructure
A delegation from the Russian company Indesol LLC, specializing in building and public works, met with the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Stella Eldine Kabre/Kabore, on July 27, 2026. The company is on a prospecting mission in Burkina Faso, aiming to develop partnerships in social housing, educational, and health infrastructure. This initiative aligns with the economic cooperation dynamic between Burkina Faso and Russia. Accompanied by the Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Saudi Arabia, Boukary Savadogo, Indesol LLC's representatives are exploring opportunities to establish partnerships in the building and public works sector. Ambassador Savadogo highlighted Indesol LLC's use of innovative technologies to deliver quality infrastructure efficiently while adhering to national and international standards. The Minister Delegate commended Indesol LLC for its interest in Burkina Faso, despite what she described as a disinformation campaign by foreign media. She noted that the mission in Ouagadougou would allow the delegation to propose real estate projects tailored to the national context and local realities, fostering a win-win partnership in line with the national authorities' vision. Aleksei Zigarskikh, head of the Russian delegation, praised the leadership of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, whose reputation he stated has extended beyond African borders.
