Saudia Airlines to increase flights between Algiers and Jeddah starting October 25, 2026
Saudia Airlines is set to significantly increase its flight offerings between Algiers and Jeddah, starting October 25, 2026. For the winter season of 2026-2027, the Saudi airline will operate up to 15 weekly flights on this route, a substantial increase from current operations. Currently, 13 weekly rotations are available for booking, with two additional slots expected to be commercialized later. This expansion aims to provide greater flexibility and improved connectivity for Algerian travelers heading to Saudi Arabia, catering to various needs including Umrah pilgrimages, family visits, business trips, and tourism. The airline plans to deploy a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft for these services. This move is part of Saudia Airlines' broader expansion strategy in Algeria, which also saw the inauguration of its first direct service from Oran's Ahmed Ben Bella International Airport on July 14, 2026, alongside a new ticketing office at the airport. The airline is also expanding its services to Casablanca, increasing flights to 14 per week for the winter season, utilizing Boeing 787-9 and 787-10 aircraft.
