Tissemsilt security services dismantle two international car trafficking networks, recovering 17 vehicles

Tissemsilt wilaya security services have dismantled two criminal networks specializing in vehicle theft and international trafficking. The first operation, led by the judicial police's anti-vehicle theft brigade, resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the recovery of 14 vehicles. This network operated by falsifying basic records and using forged administrative documents, posing a direct threat to the national economy. The second intervention, following several months of intelligence work, led to the neutralization of a criminal cell involved in stealing passenger vehicles and altering their documents after each theft. This operation resulted in the arrest of three suspects and the recovery of three passenger vehicles. In total, five individuals were apprehended across both operations and have been presented before judicial authorities on charges of theft, international vehicle trafficking, forgery, and use of forged documents.
