Arsenal and Manchester City players dominate PFA Premier League Team of the Year
Arsenal and Manchester City players secured nine of the eleven spots in the 2025/26 PFA Premier League Team of the Year, announced at the Manchester Opera House. Arsenal's defensive unit was well-represented, with David Raya, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhães, and Jurriën Timber in the backline, and Declan Rice in midfield. Manchester City's Nico O’Reilly was voted into the defensive unit, with Rayan Cherki in midfield, and Erling Haaland and Antoine Semenyo leading the forward line. The only players outside of these two clubs to make the team were Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, who also won the PFA Men’s Players’ Player of the Year award, and Brentford striker Igor Thiago.
