Additionally, this obligation extends to countries in the Middle East such as Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, and Pakistan, as well as major Asian nations like China, India, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.

Singapore's immigration policy is based on a continuous review of border security, control of tourist flows, and strengthened border checks, adopting a case-by-case approach rather than global exemptions. Depending on the applicant's situation, a Letter of Introduction LOI may also be required.
