Royal pardon granted to 634 individuals on the occasion of Eid Al Mawlid Annabaoui

These individuals include both those currently in detention and those at liberty, who were convicted by various courts across the Kingdom. The Ministry of Justice announced that 619 people received pardons, with 462 detainees benefiting from either a reduction in their remaining prison sentence or a full remission of their sentence. Among those at liberty, 157 individuals received pardons, which included remission of prison sentences, remission of prison sentences while maintaining fines, remission of fines, or remission of both prison sentences and fines.

Additionally, 15 detainees convicted in extremism and terrorism cases also received royal pardons after officially expressing their commitment to national constants and institutions, revising their ideological orientations, and rejecting extremism and terrorism.
