Rougier Group faces significant financial decline in 2025 due to operational disruptions in Gabon and Congo

This downturn was largely driven by major operational disruptions, particularly in Gabon, where administrative interruptions led to a 23.9% drop in revenue. The group experienced a 31-working-day temporary halt in forestry and industrial activities in Gabon due to administrative issues within a strict regulatory framework. Profitability also suffered significantly, with EBITDA dropping to 1.9 million euros 2.6% of revenue from 16.9 million euros in 2024.

The operational result was a loss of 11.6 million euros, and the group's net share was -8.0 million euros. In addition to Gabon, operations in Congo were affected by 81 days of production stoppages due to a diesel shortage. Trading activities showed more resilience, partially mitigating the overall contraction.

Despite the decline, Rougier maintains a "controlled" financial structure, with equity at 11.8 million euros and net debt at 15.4 million euros at the end of 2025. For 2026, the group anticipates a gradual normalization of operating conditions in Gabon and Congo, aiming for recovery. Rougier emphasizes its strategic position in sustainable forest management, highlighted by its FSC certification for all concessions in September 2025, and its industrial investments, particularly in Franceville, to support recovery.
