RMA and UM6P partner to boost insurance innovation

RMA and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University UM6P signed a collaboration agreement on April 9 in Casablanca to enhance innovation in the insurance sector. This partnership leverages academic research, professional expertise, and the entrepreneurial ecosystem. A key element of the agreement is the launch of an operational Open Innovation program focused on InsurTech. Managed by UM6P's Open Innovation Hub, this initiative aims to identify innovative startups that can address specific challenges faced by RMA. The program will include experimentation, testing, and co-creation phases to evaluate and implement the most relevant solutions. The partnership also emphasizes talent development, training, and startups. Both institutions plan to establish training programs, mentorship, internships, and initiatives related to artificial intelligence. RMA will participate in recruitment forums and events organized by UM6P. Co-development projects with mature startups are also planned, particularly through the creation of proofs of concept POCs for InsurTech and customer experience use cases. Additionally, ecosystem engagement activities such as hackathons, ideation programs, and learning expeditions will be implemented.
