Candidacy submissions for 2026 legislative elections to begin August 31

Candidates must first complete an electronic declaration on www.elections.ma, which will be accessible from August 31 at 8 AM until September 8 at noon. Following the electronic submission, candidates are required to physically deposit their original application files with the competent authority. This physical submission must be completed by Wednesday, September 9, at noon.

The Ministry of Interior has indicated that the electronic declaration is a mandatory prerequisite for submitting the physical dossier. The electoral campaign for these elections will run from Thursday, September 10, 2026, until Tuesday, September 22, at midnight.
