Reno Omokri challenges Atiku Abubakar's claim of President Tinubu being 90 years old with 1996 photo

Omokri's challenge follows an interview where Atiku claimed Tinubu's age was 90 and stated he had evidence to present in court. Omokri posted a photograph on X, purportedly showing President Tinubu and journalist Dele Momodu in London in 1996, and questioned whether Tinubu appeared to be 60 years old in the image, which would be his age if he were 90 in 2026. He urged Dele Momodu to confirm the authenticity of the photograph and its date and location.

Omokri also appealed to Momodu, reminding him of Tinubu's past support during Momodu's exile from the Sani Abacha regime. He emphasized that political campaigns should focus on issues affecting Nigerians rather than "age-shaming" opponents. President Tinubu's publicly stated date of birth is March 29, 1952, making him 74 years old.

Atiku Abubakar, who emerged as the ADC presidential candidate for the 2027 election, maintained his fitness for the presidency and criticized the Federal Government's handling of insecurity, promising to tackle it within his first year if elected.
