Morocco to play two friendly futsal matches against Japan in November
The Moroccan national futsal team will travel to Japan for two friendly matches against the Japanese national team on November 6 and 8 in Oita. These matches will take place a few weeks after the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations CAN futsal tournament, which Morocco will host from October 12 to 21. Morocco, the three-time defending continental champions from 2016, 2020, and 2024, aim for a fourth consecutive title at the upcoming CAN. The team is in Group A for the CAN, alongside Algeria, Libya, and Zambia. The friendly games against Japan will allow the Moroccan team to continue their international schedule, having previously faced Japan twice with an even record of one win each.
