Botswana artists to showcase resilience-themed exhibition inspired by Ukraine's war experience
Ten local visual artists in Botswana will explore endurance, identity, and hope in an upcoming exhibition at the Thapong Visual Arts Centre. Titled "Resilience: The Unbreakable Human Spirit," the multidisciplinary exhibition is inspired by Ukraine鈥檚 experience of war. Presented by the Embassy of Ukraine in Botswana and curated by Thabo Kgatlwane in partnership with TSW, the exhibition will run from September 1-13. It features three visual artists, two sculptors, three photographers, and two fashion designers, who will interpret resilience through their respective disciplines in response to Ukraine's story of endurance.
