Lieutenant Colonel in critical condition after throat slashing incident
A 53-year-old Lieutenant Colonel stationed at Sir Seretse Khama Barracks SSKB is in critical condition at Bokamoso Private Hospital after reportedly being slashed across the throat with a sharp object early Saturday morning. The senior Botswana Defence Force BDF officer sought medical attention at the Mogoditshane BDF Clinic on Saturday, where the incident was reported to the police around 5 am. He was subsequently transferred to Bokamoso Private Hospital. Police are currently investigating the incident and have yet to determine the circumstances of the alleged attack, the perpetrator, or the exact location where it occurred.
