OIF strengthens Gabon's CLACs with donation for knowledge and culture

The donation, which includes a vehicle, documentary resources, computers, and cultural items, aims to enhance access to educational resources, promote culture, and support digital transition within the CLACs. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of State in charge of National Education, Camélia Ntoutoume Leclercq, the Minister of Cultural Outreach, Paul Ulrich Kessany Zategwa, and the Secretary General of La Francophonie, Louise Mushikiwabo. Camélia Ntoutoume Leclercq highlighted the long-standing partnership between Gabon and the OIF, emphasizing that the equipment represents an investment in educational sovereignty.

Louise Mushikiwabo reiterated the OIF's commitment to making access to ideas and culture a cornerstone of human development. The donation also includes books, board games like chess and Monopoly, and approximately forty digital tablets. Nicolas Bounounoue, Director General of Civic Education and Literacy, stated that this initiative offers new opportunities for teachers, students, and all users seeking to enhance their skills.

The event concluded with artistic performances by the Francophonie Club, underscoring the joint commitment of the OIF and Gabonese authorities to ensure universal access to books, digital resources, and culture for the youth of Gab
