NPP communications team member alleges OSP's ORAL initiative targets political opponents

Speaking on The Pulse on JoyNews, Botchway Jnr stated that ORAL has become a tool for political convenience rather than an anti-corruption mechanism. He argued that the approach in some prosecutions suggests political influence. Botchway Jnr also questioned the government's handling of the case involving former Microfinance and Small Loans Centre MASLOC Chief Executive Officer, Sedina Christine Tamakloe-Attionu, suggesting it was a "political charade" rather than legally driven.

ORAL is an anti-corruption initiative established by the John Dramani Mahama-led administration to investigate financial malfeasance and recover state funds.
