Christopher Deutsch has assumed his duties as the new US Consul General in Casablanca, operating under the authority of US Ambassador to Morocco, Duke Buchan III. A career diplomat, Deutsch brings decades of experience from the US Foreign Service, having previously managed regional affairs and strategic engagement for the US in the Middle East at the State Department in Washington.
