Koryx Copper drilling results reinforce confidence in Namibia's Haib Project
Koryx Copper, based in Luxembourg, is nearing the completion of its infill drilling program at the Haib Project in southern Namibia, with results consistently showing positive trends across the Haib system. Koryx Copper president and chief executive Heye Daun stated that assay results from 17 drill holes, covering 6,430 meters, reinforce confidence in the deposit as the company progresses towards the pre-feasibility study publication, anticipated by the end of 2026. Daun described Haib as a large, disseminated porphyry copper deposit, also containing molybdenum and gold. He highlighted that the results demonstrate significant length and grade, with one intersection showing 0.27% CuEq from surface to 831m, including 244m at 0.42% CuEq. Continuous zones of 76m at 0.52% CuEq and 84m at 0.47% CuEq were also reported, indicating the scale and continuity of mineralization. By-product credits from molybdenum, gold, and encouraging silver values are strengthening the resource. Haib is envisioned to produce copper and molybdenum concentrate through large-scale open pit mining and conventional sulphide milling and flotation, with potential for additional copper cathode production via oxide heap leaching. Koryx Copper is focused on advancing its wholly owned Haib Copper Project in Namibia and building a portfolio of copper exploration licenses in Zambia. The Haib project has a long exploration history, with over 145,000 meters of drilling conducted since the 1970s by various operators,
