Osun Governor Adeleke urges voters to reject APC, citing past half-salary issues
Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, the Accord Party governorship candidate, has called on residents to vote against the All Progressives Congress in the August 15 governorship election. In a post on X, Governor Adeleke accused the APC of neglecting civil servants during their time in office, alleging that workers suffered hardship and were paid half salaries. He urged eligible voters to support his re-election bid, stating that his administration has prioritized the welfare of workers and the people of Osun State since he assumed office. Governor Adeleke emphasized that the state should not return to what he described as "dark days" of poverty and struggle for civil servants, asserting that the choice is clear for progress and good governance. He also mentioned that the "unjust freezing of state accounts" would strengthen the resolve of the people to prevent a return to that era.
