National Oil Corporation condemns drone attack on Brega Airport Road Fuel Depot
The National Oil Corporation NOC condemned a drone attack on its Brega Airport Road Fuel Depot, stating that the attempt to target fuel tanks caused no significant damage. The NOC emphasized that such sabotage operations on oil facilities are a dangerous indicator, urging all security and military authorities to intensify efforts to protect these vital sites. The corporation highlighted that targeting oil facilities in Libya directly threatens the supply system and basic services, which are crucial for power plants, energy production, health facilities, and citizens' daily fuel needs. As a precautionary measure, the NOC has raised the readiness of all emergency teams and initiated the process of withdrawing fuel from tanks to reduce levels. The NOC also called for the protection of oil facilities and their workers to ensure continuous fuel supply, energy security, and citizen safety.
