Winnie Odinga's BrickHouse Counsel has worked with six African presidents and Everton FC
Winnie Odinga, daughter of the late opposition leader Raila Odinga, founded The BrickHouse Counsel in 2017. This Nairobi-based consultancy specializes in digital campaigns, political branding, and strategic public relations. The firm has advised six African presidents, including Kenya's Uhuru Kenyatta, Tanzania's Samia Suluhu and the late John Magufuli, the DRC's F茅lix Tshisekedi, Ivory Coast's Alassane Ouattara, and Zambia's Hakainde Hichilema. Additionally, The BrickHouse Counsel has partnered with English Premier League club Everton FC, the African Union Development Agency, and the LAPSSET Corridor Development Authority. Odinga, who holds an MBA and two bachelor's degrees, has personally managed communications for five presidential campaigns. She currently serves as a Member of the East African Legislative Assembly, representing Kenya, but describes this role as a "side gig" compared to her consultancy work, which is her principal source of income. Odinga's career began as her father's personal aide, driver, and confidante, which she credits as foundational to her consultancy work.
