
Seven dead in Samburu helicopter crash, including Africa Heli Adventures founder Josh Outram
A helicopter crash in Samburu County, Kenya, resulted in the deaths of seven people, including pilot Josh Outram, founder of Africa Heli Adventures. The Eurocopter EC130 B4 went down on Mt Ololokwe at 9:13 am local time on Wednesday, August 19. Outram, known for his passion for flying over Kenya's landscapes, was aboard with five Americans: Jos茅 Alberto Su谩rez, Roger Edward Duarte, Adam Martin Hlavaty, Henry Parra, and Stephany Maria Hollihan Vasconez. Ecuador's intelligence chief, Michele Sensi-Contugi, also died in the crash. The incident has shocked Kenya's aviation and adventure tourism communities. Details surrounding the cause of the accident have not yet been officially confirmed. Outram had built Africa Heli Adventures to share his love for Kenya's skies and was a respected figure in the local aviation community.
