Muslim man confronts Apostle Daniel JY Adjei at police headquarters over alleged derogatory comments about Prophet Mohammed

The confrontation followed alleged derogatory comments made by the pastor about Prophet Mohammed in a video circulating on social media. The Muslim man questioned whether the pastor would have made similar remarks in a Muslim community, emphasizing the importance of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Christians. He warned against statements that could escalate tensions and highlighted the National Chief Imam's call for the pastor's arrest.

The man also challenged the pastor to consider if Muslims had ever disrespected Jesus Christ, stressing the need for respect towards religious figures and beliefs. He rejected the pastor's attempt to justify his comments by citing insults against Christians by some Muslims, stating that the law would address the pastor's actions. The Muslim man commended the National Chief Imam's leadership in fostering peaceful relations.

The Ghana Police Service, in collaboration with the National Signals Bureau NSB, arrested Apostle Daniel Junior Yaw Adjei for the alleged offensive comments. The arrest was conducted by the Police Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team CVET, and investigations are ongoing.
