Multiple fatalities in Ofankor Barrier road crash involving several vehicles

The Ghana National Fire Service reported that multiple vehicles, including two tipper trucks, a sprinter, and a tricycle, were involved. Alex King Nartey, PRO of the Ghana National Fire Service, confirmed that numerous bodies, some mutilated, were recovered from the wreckage. The accident took place on the express lane of the N6 highway, heading from Pokuase towards Achimota, around 4 am.

At least 10 bodies have been retrieved from the vehicles, with unconfirmed reports also mentioning 10 mutilated bodies and approximately 7 unconscious individuals. Fire Service personnel were seen working to rescue trapped victims from a severely damaged sprinter vehicle.
