For example, a large deposit made shortly before an application may require an explanation and supporting documents to establish its source. If parents are funding the studies, agents may request information about their income, employment, and financial status to confirm their ability to cover the stated expenses. Acceptable proof of financial capacity includes bank statements, proof of tuition and housing payments, a Canadian bank account in the student's name, a guaranteed investment certificate, a student loan from a bank, or a letter from the funding individual or organization with proof of their resources.
